We are glad you have come. Dunnings Creek Friends Meeting was founded in 1803. We are a liberal unprogrammed meeting in the tradition of Hicksite Quakers. Our meeting is a part of Baltimore Yearly Meeting (BYM) of the Religious Society of Friends, and we are affiliated with Friends General Conference (FGC).

Fishertown Quaker Museum
The Fishertown Quaker MuseumThe history of Quakers in Bedford County is preserved at our Fishertown Quaker Museum, located just around the corner at the former Fishertown Friends Meetinghouse, 3140 Valley Road. The museum is open Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, from June through August, or by appointment.
